MY IOS APP
What I Did
Built an IOS app called “Hypho” (Very basic v1.0). The idea for the app was “Duolingo but for AI”, basically to teach people how to use AI. I spent 2 months building this app from scratch, when I had never coded an app beforehand. I got it approved on the app store and got my first few users via social media.
Why It Matters To You
This proves that I am willing to not give up when I face a hard problem. During the 2 months I coded this app, I faced many difficult problems that I could not solve, often spending days at a time on small technical details. Even when I wanted to bash my head against a wall, I continued to code. Because of this, it is clear that when I really want something, I will not give up even if there are hard moments.
MY PERSONAL
TRACKER
What I Did
I built a notion tracker that tracks very important personal metrics, including:
1 - My resting heart rate before bed (#1 overall health metric)

2 - Average money spent per day

3 - Gym Data

4 - Basic habit tracker

Why It Matters To You
- I track my data accurately
- I understand the importance of data (It’s both a psychological motivator and a learning tool)
- I can easily learn how to use any CRM without training
SOMEWHAT INSANE
PERSONAL STORY
What I Did
Left my home with $1K, slept in my car, briefly homeless, crashed my car going at 60mph, had to move back home. Pushed through starting and failing multiple businesses while lonely, sad, confused, addicted etc.

Why It Matters To You
I started a number of other businesses besides the ones I showed you here, but I wont talk about them because I don’t have proof (I deleted the websites and don’t have much to show for them). I try to not make claims that I did something if I don’t have some way to prove it.
Also, I wont bother explaining my entire story here because I think it is WAY too long for a resume. The point of me sharing this with you is to show you proof of how
- I do not give up,
- I am 100% dedicated to improving myself
Over the last 2 years I have done an unbelievable amount of work, and I’m confident I can bring this energy to any job I have.
SOCIAL
MEDIA
What I Did
Posted a lot on social media (probably 500+) on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
I’ve done this for my personal brand, e-commerce stores, and agencies. I learned video editing, motion graphics animations, and filming techniques (Lighting, Audio, etc) and learned relatively strong speaking skills.
My most viral videos (I would call this “Semi-Viral” in my opinion):
Another screenshot showing more of my content:
You can see a wall of other instagram reels, LinkedIn video posts, and some YouTube videos on the far left. You can still see my YouTube videos at youtube.com/@Tyler_Ericcsen
NOTE: Full honesty, I deleted many of these videos because I didn’t think they were good enough, thats why you don’t see any of these IG reels on my account right now.
Why It Matters To You
I have developed skills which transfer over to sales:
